Gunner Bradford

“The sea is one woman you can never control.”

As a child, his dream was to always become a sailor. However, because of his sick mother. He was not able to join the British navy until the age of 21.  Nonetheless, that did not stop him from learning as much as he could about sailing on the seven seas.

In June, Gunner was able to set sail on the Legacy. While the crew was sailing, Gunner noticed ominous waters. In an attempt to warn the captain, Gunner ended up punching him instead and was accused of treason. While under ship arrest, the ship was attacked by pirates of The Pearl. At this moment he had a choice to become a pirate and stay at sea or be jailed for treason. He is now a proud member of The Pearl.

They say those that practice witchcraft has their souls bound to the Devil. To prevent Satan’s influence from spreading, any individual convicted of being a witch/warlock are taken care of by the Church . It is rumored that one such individual resides within mother England. Where she is a hermit that lives away from the nearby town. The only reason the town hasn’t taken care of her yet is because there hasn’t been enough evidence against her to prove she is indeed a witch. If she is a witch, however, she could know a thing or two about how to remove the curse of Black Beard.

Salina Diablos

“Shh, do you hear that ? The voices, they say to follow the compass.”

Voodoo a potent form of black magic, performed by those few and far between. Liz is said to live on a desolate island somewhere out at sea. This island is said to be protected by a terrifyingly large sea serpent, capable of swallowing ships whole. It is unknown if the serpent’s purpose is keeping intruders away from the island, or keeping the hag trapped on it. The serpent’s presence alone is enough to believe that she is indeed a powerful individual, voodoo or not. Perhaps she holds the power too.

Gold-Tooth Liz

“Heh, some gods are like snakes. Just laying in wait to strike. ”
